Random Acts of Kindness

Chief of Police, Paul Davis along with several officers of the Bridge City Police Department visited Mrs. Angela Frank’s 3rd grade class at Bridge City Intermediate today.  The class had participated in an act of random kindness.  The students made the police department special thank you cards and collected gift cards to tell the officers thank you for keeping our town safe.  The officers wanted to pay this act of kindness forward so they surprised the class with ice cream treatsIt doesn’t matter if you’re 5 or 105, every single person on the planet needs and wants to feel loved, appreciated and valued.  Acts of kindness raise the givers feel good meter and leave the recipient with a great sense of wellbeing and joy, a warm and fuzzy feeling that's contagious.  Kindness can literally change the way a person feels and the course of their day, and in theright doses, even change their life! What a great day to be a Bridge City Cardinal.
