Volunteer at the Middle School
Those who can, do. Those who can do more, volunteer. ~Author Unknown
Volunteers don't get paid, not because they're worthless, but because they're priceless. ~Sherry Anderson
Bridge City Middle School welcomes our community members to volunteer at our campus. We'd appreciate members of this great community to come join our school and help us continue our success through our volunteer program.
Someone can volunteer as much as five days a week, or even as little as just 30 minutes one day a week. You will be suprised how much help that 30 minutes can actually be to the students and the school.
Currently BCMS could use volunteers in the following areas:
![]()
1) Morning Duty (7:00am - 7:30am) - we could use an extra pair of eyes each morning for the students who arrive before the teachers.
2) Lunch Duty (11:40 - 12:10 & 12:35 - 1:05)
3) Study Hall Tutorials (2:05 - 2:40) - We could always use people to work with small groups of students during study hall. Even if you don't feel like you know the content, we have effective things you can do with the students. We will provide all of the training needed.
4) After-School Tutorial (3:35 - 4:05) - This is a great time to help a student with their homework.
5) Work Room (anytime) - Our teachers are in high demand of people who are willing to run off copies, and help cut out material for their CSCOPE lessons.
6) Covering Classes (Friday's 1:10 - 3:35) - we need people to cover teachers classes for various reasons - professional developments, testing and etc.
