BCMS Choir
On Friday, January 27th, 10 members of our Cardinal Choir travelled to Vidor Junior High to compete in this year’s Region 10 UIL Middle School Vocal Solo and ensemble contest. Each prepared a solo for the competition. 5 received a rating of “Excellent” for their performances and were awarded certificates of excellence. The other 5 members were awarded ratings of “Superior” and received medals for their solo divisions. Students awarded “Excellent” were: Kayla Foster, Jessica Koopman, Emily Werkheiser, Hope Oranday, and Ashlyn Taylor. Those that received “Superior” were: Rachel Odom, Hannah Story, Alex Hargrave, Shelbea Taylor and Khristie Griffis. It was a great day in Vidor for BCMS and BCISD as these ladies proved that Cardinal Country has high standards!!! Congratulations to the our ladies for a job well done!
