Adopted Budgets
The Bridge City Independent School District adopted the budget and tax rate for 2011-2012 on August 15, 2011. The tax rates of $1.04 for M&O and $.15 for I&S are the same as last year.
The following statements are required to be posted on the district’s website per legislation passed by the 79th Texas Legislature in 2005 and the 81st Texas Legislature in 2009:
The Bridge City Independent School District adopted a tax rate on August 15, 2011 that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year’s rate.
The tax rate will effectively be raised by 11.5% and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $0.00
