Parents and Community Members,

I am honored to serve as Superintendent of a district where academic excellence is the standard, extracurricular programs thrive, and students are both challenged and supported to become well-educated, responsible young adults. This year marks my 25th year in education and my fifth school year in Bridge City ISD. I am energized by the opportunities ahead as we continue to expand programs and facilities to meet the needs of our growing district and, most importantly, our students.

Bridge City ISD is an innovative school system at the heart of a family-oriented community with a welcoming small-town atmosphere. We take pride in fostering a true family environment for our students and staff. Our school board, administrators, teachers, and support staff remain steadfast in our mission: to ensure every one of our 3,100 students receives an exceptional education and has access to the resources, support, and opportunities needed to succeed both personally and professionally. We are passionate about student success, and it is my hope that our commitment is evident in every interaction and decision we make.

We offer a rigorous academic and extracurricular environment that challenges students to reach their highest potential. Significant investments in technology, career and technical education (CTE), and other resources help ensure that every student has the tools to succeed. While we are proud of the strong academic foundation we provide, we also believe in the value of a well-rounded education, offering a wide variety of programs and activities to enrich the student experience.

I am grateful for the continued support of our community, including the hardworking and generous booster clubs that help ensure our students have every opportunity to excel. Bridge City ISD is not only a great place to learn, it is a great place to live and raise a family. I encourage you to stay connected by following our campus and district Facebook pages, where we share updates and celebrate the many achievements of our students.

Bridge City ISD is truly Best in Class!

About Bridge City ISD

ABOUT OUR COMMUNITY

The city was originally named Prairie View, as it was located on the coastal grasslands of the upper Texas coastline. But in 1938, the Port Arthur-Orange Bridge (now known as the Rainbow Bridge) was built, and the unincorporated area took on the name "Bridge City". After several previous attempts, the city incorporated in 1970.

The city of Bridge City earned  its name from the fact that one has to cross a bridge to enter the city from any direction.
Our population is approximately  8,000 according to the most recent United States census estimates. We are the 271st largest city in Texas based on official estimates from the US Census Bureau.

The overall median age of our citizens is 33.6 years with an average income of $74,118.
Bridge City is a great place to live and raise a family. We are proud of our home and consider our city to be the best in Texas!
