TIA is designed to reward and retain highly effective educators by providing the opportunity to earn additional compensation based on demonstrated performance and student growth, with designations awarded to top-performing teachers.
Teachers must meet established criteria and earn their designation through our TEA-approved system.
Potential annual allotments in our district include:
Recognized: up to $3,500
Exemplary: up to $7,000
Master: up to $13,500
Current teachers have the opportunity to earn additional compensation for their excellence
